This is a draft written to match how Stride actually works today. It is not legal advice — have a lawyer review it before you rely on it in production. Replace every bracketed [placeholder] before publishing.
By creating a Stride account, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Stride.
You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. You must provide a valid email address, and you're responsible for its accuracy — it's how we deliver account and billing notices, and how you recover access if you forget your password.
Everything you create in Stride — pages, notes, tasks, messages, and everything else — belongs to you. We don't claim ownership over it. You're responsible for what you create, upload, and share, including making sure you have the right to share it with anyone you invite to a page, group, or conversation.
You agree not to use Stride to store or share anything illegal, to harass or abuse other users, to upload malware, or to attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization.
Stride lets you share pages with other people and message them directly. Once you share a page or send a message to someone, they can see that content for as long as they have access — removing their access stops future visibility but does not retroactively delete anything they may have already seen, copied, or saved elsewhere.
Stride offers a free trial followed by a paid subscription. Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from Settings — your access continues until the end of the current billing period, we do not provide partial refunds for unused time.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. This permanently deletes your pages, content, and messages, cancels your subscription, and cannot be undone. If you own a page shared with others, they lose access to it when you delete your account.
Stride is provided "as is." We aim to keep it reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we're not liable for data loss, though we take reasonable technical measures (backups, offline-first caching) to prevent it. Stride caches your data locally so you can keep working offline; a delete made while offline on multiple devices at once may not always reconcile perfectly across all of them.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abuse of other users, attempts to compromise the service, or fraudulent billing activity.
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in-app or by email before they take effect.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
